Amazon Athena data connector for AWS IoT TwinMaker is now available to all customers. Amazon Athena is an interactive query service that makes it easy to analyze data in Amazon Simple Storage Service using standard SQL. The Amazon Athena data connector enables you to connect your tabular data from the Amazon Athena data store to AWS IoT TwinMaker, adding context and discrete information to your digital twins.
Customers can now attach tabular data like maintenance records, shift schedules, and electrical bills to the equipment in their digital twins, giving operators a single pane of glass to manage their assets. This data connector is fully AWS-managed. You can get started by simply deploying the data connector, attaching it to your entities, and fetching the required data into your digital twins.
The Amazon Athena data connector for AWS IoT TwinMaker is available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Europe (Frankfurt), and Europe (Ireland).
