Today, AWS announces the launch of the Invoice Summary feature. This feature offers additional configurations to AWS customers to reduce the overall size of the AWS Invoices.
Customers with a large number of member accounts can receive AWS Invoices with a sizeable number of pages. Customers who choose to opt-in to the Invoice Summary feature will receive AWS Invoices with reduction in the number of pages. The feature reduces the number of pages by removing the member account detail sections from AWS Invoices. This will help customers with large number of member accounts process and reconcile AWS Invoices in a more effective manner.
Customers opted in to the feature can continue to access member account consumption details through the Billing Console and Cost and Usage Reports (CUR). This feature is available in all commercial AWS regions, excluding AWS China (Beijing, operated by Sinnet), and China (Ningxia, operated by NWCD) regions.
