Starting today, users can experience a simplified visual layout when they access AWS Supply Chain Demand Planning from their browser. This new user interface features an enhanced onboarding experience, simplified forecast settings, a unified demand plan, and streamlined workflows for forecast overrides and demand plan finalization. This reduces the time it takes for new users to onboard and finalize forecast.
With this release, you can get started quickly with our application using the new onboarding process, which provides helpful functional overviews, instructions and improved documentation to walk new users through the setup process. You can now take advantage of simplified forecast configuration settings to fine-tune your forecast based on your specific business requirement. You can achieve consensus forecasting with ease using our newly introduced unified Enterprise Demand Plan, which consolidates input from multiple stakeholders. The new interface offers a structured approach to validate and approve the final forecast, allowing you to compare it with actual demand, prior year actual, and prior demand plan to make informed adjustments. You have the ability to apply multiple overrides directly on a forecast in a single row and additionally view the change history, as we have simplified the process to improve efficiency in forecast finalization.
This new user interface is available to customers at no additional cost and is available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon) and Europe (Frankfurt). Please visit AWS Supply Chain to learn more and get started.
