Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Isabelle - new Belgian French Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) voice for Amazon Polly. Amazon Polly is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk and to build entirely new categories of speech-enabled products.
Isabelle is our first synthetic voice for French-speaking users in Belgium. We developed Isabelle using an advanced neural technology that makes it sound natural and human-like. Since Isabelle will be used in a multilingual environment, we also made sure that she can pronounce Flemish and English words correctly.
Isabelle and all the other NTTS voices are available in AWS regions supporting Neural TTS. For more details, please read the Amazon Polly documentation and visit our pricing page.
