This new driver allows applications such as Excel, PowerBI, JMP, and more to seamlessly integrate with Timestream's powerful query engine, facilitating the analysis of billions of data points.

Timestream is a purpose-built, scalable, and secure time-series database designed for cost-effective analysis of time-series data. The new ODBC driver enhances accessibility by expanding the reach of Timestream's capabilities across a broader array of analytical tools.

To start using the ODBC connector, you can access the source code and download the drivers from Amazon Timestream’s Github repository. More information about our ODBC driver is available in the Timestream's connectors' page. This release supports various operating systems including Windows 11, Windows 10, macOS Venture, Ubuntu Server 20.04, and more.

The ODBC driver is open source and available for the user community under the Apache-2.0 license. The standard pricing applies when using Timestream via the ODBC driver.

The Amazon Timestream ODBC driver will be supported in the AWS regions where Amazon Timestream is offered.
