Customers that are subject to HIPAA can use AWS AppFabric to aggregate normalized audit logs from supported Software as a Service (SaaS) applications or audit user access in those applications. If you have an executed Business Associate Addendum (BAA) with AWS, you can now use AWS AppFabric for workloads that are within the scope of HIPAA.

AWS AppFabric is no code service that quickly connects software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications with security tools including Logz.io, Netskope, NetWitness, Rapid7, and Splunk. With AppFabric, IT and security teams can more easily manage and secure applications by aggregating and normalizing log data into a central repository that is accessible to leading security tools, and employees can soon complete everyday tasks faster using generative artificial intelligence (AI). With HIPAA eligibility, healthcare and life sciences companies can use AppFabric to improve their SaaS security posture without managing application specific API integrations.

AWS AppFabric is generally available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Europe (Ireland).
