You can now access Cohere Command Light, Cohere Embed English, and Cohere Embed multilingual models in Amazon Bedrock. Command is Cohere’s flagship text generation model and is trained to follow user commands and to be useful in business applications. Cohere Embed offers a set of models trained to produce high-quality embeddings from text documents.
Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service that offers a choice of high-performing foundation models from leading AI companies, like Cohere, along with a broad set of capabilities that provide you with the easiest way to build and scale generative AI applications with foundation models. With this launch, four Cohere foundation models are now available in Amazon Bedrock, including the already available Cohere Command model. You can now integrate these Cohere models in your applications written in any programming language by calling the Amazon Bedrock API, or using the AWS SDKs or AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI).
These Cohere models in Amazon Bedrock are available in on-demand options in the US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) AWS Regions.
