AWS IoT SiteWise now support bulk import, export, and update industrial equipment metadata. The new bulk APIs for metadata help customers to import their asset model data from diverse systems such as historians in AWS IoT SiteWise at scale.
With this new capability, users can now import and migrate equipment models and assets metadata from an external source or different AWS accounts to AWS IoT SiteWise. In addition, Industrial customers can use the same API to perform metadata bulk operations for AWS IoT TwinMaker. The new SiteWise capability will help Industrial IoT developers to programmatically perform metadata bulk operations at scale shortening project onboarding time and accelerating time to value.
AWS IoT SiteWise is generally available, and you can use this feature in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), and Europe (Ireland).
