AWS Mainframe Modernization is now available with NTT DATA UniKix technology for replatforming and running mainframe applications on the AWS Cloud. The new capability broadens the replatform provider choices available to customers for mainframe application modernization.
NTT DATA UniKix modernization technology supports the modernization of mainframe software and databases including transaction managers, COBOL, JCL, relational databases, hierarchical databases, and indexed data sets. Replatforming of applications with NTT DATA UniKix can help reduce operating costs, set the stage for a strategic transformation, and unlock innovation.
AWS Mainframe Modernization service allows you to modernize and migrate on-premises mainframe applications to AWS. In addition to supporting a replatform pattern, the service offers modernization with automated refactor, as well as augmentation patterns via data replication and file transfer.
