AWS Marketplace sellers with a Security Specialization or a Level 1 Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Specialization can now add these Specializations to their Vendor Insights security profiles. These are in addition to already available certifications for SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance. AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights helps streamline the complex third-party software risk assessment process by enabling sellers to make security and compliance information available to buyers through AWS Marketplace.
AWS Marketplace sellers with a Security Specialization have deep technical expertise with security on AWS and proven customer success securing the cloud journey with their software offerings. Sellers with MSSP Specializations provide 24x7 security protection and monitoring of AWS resources delivered as a fully-managed services. With this launch, AWS is introducing two new options to further refine search results in AWS Marketplace for discovering products with AWS Security and MSSP Specializations. Buyers who are looking for security software validated by AWS can now more quickly discover validated software in AWS Marketplace.
Vendor Insights is available in all public AWS Regions where AWS Marketplace is available.
AWS Marketplace sellers with Security or MSSP Specializations can request AWS Marketplace support to add these specializations to their Vendor Insights security profiles.
