Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) now provides an enhanced experience for RDS Recommendations that consolidates configuration best practices, threshold-based proactive performance recommendations, and machine learning (ML) powered performance anomalies.
The new experience shows recommendations in a single list prioritized by severity. You can easily filter this list by searching for a keyword, or through properties like category or severity. This makes it easy to triage your list of recommendations, or simply archive the ones that no longer need your attention. You can apply configuration recommendations on multiple resources with the click of a button. All configuration recommendations are automatically available through RDS Recommendations on the Amazon RDS console.
Configuration recommendations are available in 15 commercial regions listed here. ML-based anomalies and threshold-based performance recommendations are available in 16 commercial regions listed here.
