Amazon Web Services (AWS) is generating 11.2 billion Euros in value for businesses across Germany, serving tens of thousands of customers with cloud services and creating more than 800 new jobs in 2022 in country. Cloud computing is one of the most significant technologies of our time. The AWS Cloud helps German customers to drive innovation, economic growth and navigate uncertainty.

To understand the usage and the real impact of cloud computing and AWS in Germany, AWS commissioned a report from an independent consultancy, IW Consult, a subsidiary of the German Economic Institute (Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft).
