Carlos is the founder and leader of AWS User Group Perú. He is Certified with 8 years of experience in AWS and is also Founder and CTO of CENNTI, which helps Peruvian companies in their difficult journey to the cloud and the development of Machine Learning solutions.
Carlos studied Systems Engineering at Norbert Wiener University. In 2020 he finished his studies in Data Analytics at MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston. The two biggest AWS events in Perú: AWS Community Day Lima 2019 and AWS UG Perú Conference in 2021, were organized by him. His favorite activities are mountain biking and writing or talking about technical topics on Medium, dev.to, and cortez.cloud.
Carlos is the owner of the first AWS Podcast in Latam, "Imperio Cloud" and "Al día con AWS." He loves to create content for emerging technologies, which is why he created DeepFridays to educate people in Reinforcement Learning.
He is Peruvian but lives in Chile and he recently started a Data Science Master in UNSW, Australia.
