To get started with Amazon EC2 Elastic GPUs, follow this simple tutorial:
Step 1: Set up and log into your AWS account
Log into the AWS Management Console and set up your root account.
Step 2: Launch an Amazon EC2 instance
In the Amazon EC2 Dashboard, choose "Launch Instance" to create and configure your virtual machine.
Step 3: Configure your instance
In this wizard, you have the option to configure your Elastic GPUs. Below are some guidelines on setting up your first instance with Elastic GPUs attached.
- Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI): In step 1 of the wizard, choose an AMI with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or above.
- Choose an Elastic GPU type: In step 3 of the wizard, click on “Add GPU” checkbox and select GPU Type.
- Ensure security group is configured properly: In step 6 of the wizard, use a security group that allows both inbound and outbound TCP traffic over port 2007 from your instance's network interface.
- Launch instance: In step 7, review your instance configuration and choose "Launch".
Note: It may take a few minutes to initialize your instance.
