A: Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at the AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS infrastructure and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.

The AWS Summit Bahrain features a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Q: When can I view the conference agenda?

A: The agenda will be published soon.

Q: Will the sessions be in English or Arabic?

A: All sessions will be in English to cater to an international audience. However, there will be Arabic translation for the keynote.

Q: Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?

A: At this time, we are not accepting submissions for AWS Summit speakers or session content. However, we always appreciate customer feedback, made possible through surveys.

Q: What is included in Summit registration?

A: Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, all breakout sessions, and the Partner Solutions Expo. Meals offered include lunch and snacks.

Q: What is the price of registration?

A: Registration for the AWS Summit Bahrain is complimentary.

Q: How do I update my registration information?

A: To update your registration information, please contact us.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: You may cancel your Summit registration by contacting us, however, a cancellation email confirmation will not be provided.

Q: Will I need to register myself for each breakout session?

A: There is no need to pre-register, as breakout sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. However, we recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on the AWS Summit mobile app to help you organize your day. The mobile app will be available soon.

Q: What parking options are available?

A: On-site parking is available at no cost. Parking spots are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Taxis are recommended.

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?

A: The AWS Summit Bahrain venue, The Gulf Hotel, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

Q: What special dietary requirements will be accommodated?
