AWS Ambassadors are recognized as influential AWS professionals in driving their organization's AWS proficiency and supporting the community through contributions showing thought leadership. AWS Ambassadors possess and maintain multiple AWS certifications and develop publicly consumable content.

Who can be an AWS Ambassador?
AWS Ambassadors must be employees of AWS Partners, passionate about contributing to the community, and interested in working closely with customers implementing AWS Workloads. AWS Ambassadors must hold at least two AWS technical certifications at Professional or Specialty level and regularly contribute to the AWS community through a variety of communication channels.

How do AWS Ambassadors differ from AWS Heroes?
AWS Ambassadors are considered an extension of the AWS team. Both AWS Heroes and AWS Ambassadors contribute to the AWS community through publicly consumable content focused on thought leadership, communicating best practices, and in-depth technical write-ups. Unlike AWS Heroes, AWS Ambassadors are employed by AWS Partners.
