Autonomous vehicles must be designed to securely collect, ingest, and store data from multiple sensors. These sensors could be light detection and ranging (LiDAR), Radar, GPS, a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), cameras, telematics, and processed data from the electronic control unit (ECU). The Data Collection, Ingestion & Enrichment solutions on AWS are designed to identify, catalog, and quickly query these types of sensor data for autonomous vehicles. The data is used to run campaigns for an operational design domain (ODD) such as lane-keeping assistance systems (LKAS) and automated emergency braking (AEB) to develop models and algorithms for autonomous driving and cloud validation.
