This workshop is designed to accelerate your journey toward an AWS-based modern data platform, enabling the design and development of data-centric solutions that tackle intricate challenges and deliver tangible value to your business as it scales.

This workshop offers a methodical approach, consisting of a sequence of joint architecture design meetings, which start by addressing your business and technical needs and work towards achieving your objectives. Our AWS certified Data Solutions Architects will assist you in navigating your data landscape, unearthing insights, and constructing reliable, scalable, and secure applications on AWS in alignment with AWS best practices and the Well-Architected Framework.

This workshop is often a great prerequisite exercise for businesses looking to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) capabilities.

We first work to fully understand your current data platform landscape, provide a Modern Data Platform design, and identify an implementation plan according to your needs.

This workshop consists of a series of technical deep-dive sessions (typically 1 to 2 hours each, up to 8 hours total) that focus on any mix of the following domains:

1. Data acquisition
2. Data ingestion
3. Data storage
4. Data transformation
5. Data governance
6. Data privacy, security, scrubbing, and protection
7. Data analysis
8. Data visualization
9. Data "clean rooms"

Each session will emphasize discovery, design, education, and exploring the “art of the possible” as it pertains to the unique capabilities offered by the AWS cloud.

Typical Modern Data Platform designs produced via this workshop include (but are not limited to): Data warehouses, data lakes, data lake houses, data catalogs, data marts, data mesh, master data management (MDM), and ETL/ELT pipelines.

This workshop is also applicable to businesses looking to adopt or migrate to purpose-built databases within AWS.

Deliverables

Technical Deep-Dive Discovery Sessions: Collaborative sessions with our Data Solutions Architects. The workshop includes up to 8 hours of sessions between zeb and your technical teams.

Future-state Architecture Diagram: A comprehensive diagram that illustrates the future-state design produced upon completion of the technical discovery sessions.

Recommendations Report: A summary of our exploration sessions, rationales behind architectural choices, and a detailed description of the future-state solution with suggested next steps.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Estimation: We offer a pre-configured AWS Pricing Calculator to help you accurately project the AWS operational expenses associated with the proposed solution.

Proposal for Implementation Services: A proposal detailing the cost for zeb’s Professional Services teams to implement the designed solution.
