Multi-DRM Integration Workflow
DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud is a fully automated, cloud-based DRM license issuance platform that enables pay TV operators and OTT providers to deliver studio-grade content protection for premium video services, including Hollywood content. The platform integrates natively with AWS Elemental Media Services (MediaPackage and MediaConvert) via the SPEKE (Secure Packager and Encoder Key Exchange) API, compliant with the DASH-IF CPIX standard. Operators can apply multi-DRM protection to live streams and VOD content directly through the AWS Elemental console with minimal configuration.
Supported DRM technologies:
- Microsoft PlayReady, Google Widevine, Apple FairPlay Streaming, Huawei WisePlay, and DoveRunner NCG DRM.
Key capabilities:
- Automated, high-availability DRM license issuance via REST API
- SPEKE/CPIX-compliant key exchange with AWS Elemental MediaPackage and MediaConvert
- Centralized license policy management through the DoveRunner Console
- Usage-based metering with consolidated billing through AWS Marketplace
DoveRunner Multi-DRM Cloud is also compatible with DoveRunner Forensic Watermarking (available separately at doverunner.com) for end-to-end premium content protection workflows. Subscription includes access to the DoveRunner Console, API documentation, and integration guides.
