Bottom Line - It works!
What do you like best about the product?
There is a tremendous amount of flexibility and options to tailor exactly what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get used to the tree structure. But with a robust system, comes some complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to tailor it to be more precise than our previous firewall. Although it is very precise, it still has a lot of flexibility.
We have enjoyed a reduction in labor from using this product

What needs improvement?
The usability for the administrator's experience needs improvement. My system administrator has some questions about its overall connectivity and flexibility.
I would like to see UI improvements in the next release.
For how long have I used the solution?
Less than one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is very stable, but I don't think we stress it to its capabilities.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability meets our needs. It should scale to our short term growth needs without a problem, as our environment is fairly small. We are a small to midsize business.
How is customer service and technical support?
The technical support is good.
How was the initial setup?
The AWS integration and configuration was easy to use and set up.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Purchasing through AWS Marketplace was good. We did it because it was easy.
It would be nice if the pricing and licensing offered for less.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend to check out this product.
Easy way to keep users mostly safe
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps our network users from picking up a lot of viruses and malware.before they get on their workstations which pretty much then requires that system must be wiped and restored.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of our vendor's sites we must download firmware and much of them are blocked because they are in southeast Asia. It would be nice if there was a quick way to temporarily white-list a site or domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Application awareness of the firewall. Really allows you to monitor what is going on and what users are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little time to afjust to the configuration interface. Because the firewall has many options and features the interface is complexer then other (not next gen) firewalls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it a lot for the antivirus and the atp (advanced threat protection). In time of cryptolockers, Securing internet access with ssl interception and antivirus and atp is really helpfull to protect Your users and computers

Take Your time to get used and get familier with the interface.

Barracuda if very simple to use. Their customer service is great with helping you out on anything you have questions with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the way you have to implement things can be a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using a linux firewall managed by someone else. This can now be managed in house.

User Friendly Web Application with all categories.

Bit complex navigation for some items but ok to use.

Great Product, Great Company
What do you like best about the product?
Barracuda systems are very easy to use and administer. The firewall is great for web security and if there are any issues Barracuda's support is one of the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. We use many different Barracuda products and all work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The firewall protects the internal network from outside attacks. This benefits the users and admins from having no down time when someone is trying to hack into the network.

Great product that you won't regret switching too!
Secures work network, simple set up.
What do you like best about the product?
No downtime, services are always up and running (thus far). Nicely integrates with the other Barracuda services we have on the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes changing your personal configuration is a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our network, virtually no downtime. Works well with other applications

Definitely have a dedicated network guy at hand to get this up and going.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps control unwanted emails by scanning them and allowing me to block them in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to take a long time to get them to send me emails with the possible bad emails
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting suspicious emails from unwanted sources or possibly infecting our network
Good Solution. I
I decided to buy the version, after making the trial. It's quite flexible and complete solution. Excellent application to manage by remote console.
