What do you like best about the product?
One of the most commonly used vulnerability analysis methods. It is very efficient to scan application servers, DB servers, network devices like switches, routers, firewalls and proxy servers, which allows every system to operate one only to scan vulnerabilities and incomplete patch reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The method is quite intense but, in the process, we want to use Nessus and the setup of a scan is appropriate, but requires the expertise to get all the desired results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With so many features for security scans in web applications Nexus is among the industry's top vulnerability scanners. For Windows operating systems Nessus can run through the web browser.

Excellent software It is very easy to implement in my opinion it is one of the best products on the market.

Webapp scanner need improvement it need lots of information to run an authenticated scan.

What do you like best about the product?
I like this tool which I have used in my last company where I used to scan the windows servers and Linux servers from that tool I used to remove vulnerabilities and missing patches which are dangerous to servers where attackers can hack with that vulnerability I used that tool for network infrastructure also like routers , firewall, switches and workstations.but the functionality and performance is good and high.

Till now I did not found any dislike but the main thing is that it is the cost. Where we need to buy this product for all the users .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It scan whole servers and find the vulnerabilities and missing patches.it automatically generate the reports no need extra work using this tool it’s very nice.

It supports customizable dashboard, reports and ticketing system. Nessus will assist us focus on critical issues in advance.

Nothing dislike up to now and Nessus great tool for vulnerability scanning.

Nessus still functioned off as an observed deployment, & a much more thinking-out implementing proposal would also have been easier.

I liked the Nessus because of its excellent coverage; its final results provides almost every details like vulnerability brief, its exploits, references and such other important matters to be dealt with the vulnerability fix.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support of Nessus is limited as compared to its wide customer base all over the world. So customer support of Nessus needs to be improved from the view point of its availability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An experience with Nessus started with questions like whether this tool will be helpful, will it give expected results, whether........ and yes, this tool has given satisfied results to put a forward step for secured information system environment. For detailed results provided by Nessus I would say in brief that "It just worked flawlessly to deal with the vulnerabilities".

East to set up, use and report on.The ability to scan static and dynamic asset lists is great

It would be nice if their website had the published or revised date of their plugins

I like most that the recommendation/Solution present in the Nessus scan report. if it is not present, we need to troubleshoot things very deeply that can delay in Timelines.

Sometimes I feel when the disk Space got full where we installed Nessus, We must get any message/notification. It happens once with me and not able to figure out what actually happens why reports are generated blank, but later we figured out this and deleted old reports.

Use it... it will give you a complete Report of yours Server So that we can make our server hard to security threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Nexus is one of the best vulnerability scanners in the market it has so many features for web application security scans, network scans, compliance scans and external vulnerability scans it has a great Vulnerability detection rate and best for security testers so easily find vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find any big weakness in Nessus, but if the Nessus team can improve web application scan functions for finding some deep vulnerabilities it will be great for customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Nessus to test the internal and External and internal Vulnerability assessments and the compliance reviews of the devices.

Essential tool for Security testers, the price is higher compared to other products, but it gives maximum return for your investment.
Expensive but worth it.
