Stable, Simple Platform That Just Works
What do you like best about the product?
So far it very stable platform and simple
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe the GUI need to be improved, I hate that there is no confirmation to change something or just give us a save button it will help much

many things, simple web load balance, access for the API, etc

User-Friendly Reverse Proxy with Great Templates, But Custom Setups Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
This is a reverse proxy that features an easy-to-use and clean web UI. I find it very useful, and it offers templates for most applications, which makes setup much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you try to proxy a custom service, it can be quite challenging to find the correct configuration. It's not as straightforward as it might seem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows for the management of virtual services and also has high availability features (2 virtuale appliance)

Strong feature set: includes things like layer-4/7 load balancing, SSL/TLS offloading, content switching, compression, caching, etc.
Flexible deployment & licensing: works as hardware appliance, virtual, in cloud; pooled licensing helps adapt to demand.

What do you dislike about the product?
UI / UX could be more modern and intuitive; some advanced configs are hard to find or understand. Logging, analytics & real-time traffic visibility aren’t as rich as competitors; often have to export to external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensures application availability (servers can fail, traffic is rerouted) so websites/apps stay online.

Load Balancers just work - without issues.

Log management (especially for WAF) is not easy.
No multidomain support for pre-auth SSO.

We use LoadMaster as load balancers and reverse proxy (sometimes with pre-auth and integrated WAF)

Reliable Integration and Load Balancing, but Needs Improved Geo-Fencing

The system just works, we have integrated it with our MFA systems and provides the load balancing capabilities that is required for our web services.
What do you dislike about the product?
It need better geo-fencing capabilities for a single install

Simple, fast, Easy to use Lead Balancer

UI is intuitive and easy to use with readily available help bubbles to assist in any confusing settings.

Licensing the load balancer can be a bit of a pain.

The load balancer allowed us to load balance internal websites for redundancy.
Solid LoadBalancer, versatile and redundant
What do you like best about the product?
Stability - We used to have to restart our Netscalers once a month or more, barely have to touch the KEMP to keep it working 100%

There was a bit of a learning curve to KEMP, and some of the guides / documentation was a bit confusing, but once we overcame that it was good.

Redundancy for non-redundant services (i.e. LDAPS, DNS, SMTP, DUO, etc)

The installation, setup, and management processes are all straightforward and easy to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of the graphical interface. While it functions as expected, its appearance is unattractive and feels quite outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously faced challenges with not using SSL certificates in our internal applications. However, Kemp LoadMaster has made this process much simpler for us.
