Very Stable and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The Capture ATP, intrusion prevention, and botnet detection offer great peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration can be a bit tricky for people new to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our network is more secure as a result of the above-listed features.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy way to use it. Fast access, good console tools and is very safe to use. It has many options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The only thing I dislike is the VPN client configuration option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving security problems by controlling all access from users to the internet and protecting my servers from external attacks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to use. Very easy to deploy. It has a lot of good options when setting up security rules.

Management Software tool option VS Web interface, Easy of understanding policy creation, Overall security
What do you dislike about the product?
No native MacOS M1 chip SSL client. As a mac user this is HUGE and has boxed me into having to keep purchasing Intel Based Macs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web Filtering, Intrusion Prevention, GeoLocation filtering. All have been a huge plus

GET IT! SonicWall, Sophos, Fortinet do not even come close to Watchguard
Watchguard: Great fit and price but a few bugs
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and functionality of the watchguard firebox at the price range is unbeatable
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few bugs mainly relating to hardware and then updating firmware that are a real pain. They don't break any of the business critical functions but they are obnoxious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 85 vpn sessions for offsite employees a day and the firebox m400 has handled the load flawlessly.
It has been a fantastic product for us.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the interface. It has a simplex face that allows for easy manipulation. It is durable and provides the sophistication I expect in a firewall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing but praise for the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are stabilizing our system with WatchGuard. I have been using the product and am please with it. We have created internal networks with different restrictions that allow for multi-level usage.

Their support team is great to help with issues that cannot be resolved in-house. I truly recommend Watchgarud for anyone.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using watchguard for so many years, from branch office t10 to t15,t35, M200 to m370 m29. They are very solid in build security network and branch office VPN. We would like to keep the product to support our business.

user managemnt feature need to be imporved.

we are using it for connecting different brach office and small office together. And employee working at home during the pandemic.

Ease of use. Great customer support service. Great trade-in program

Can be a little pricey to get a small business setup with one.

What do you like best about the product?
WatchGuard has been super reliable for us for many years. Functions round the clock without hiccup. Great support when help is needed. Always a good experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be a bit intimidating. I'm still learning some things but still afraid to touch other things. It can cause reluctance to learn sometimes too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is used for our primary firewall protection. The other main thing we utilize is the content filtering for our on-site end-users, both wired and wireless clients alike.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease with which policies can be applied to control browsing and how all of this is linked to Active Directory users. It also includes a VPN service.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't found anything significant enough to say that I don't like it, however, I think the issue of the interface on the web portal and in the System Manager should be addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have controlled bandwidth usage and blocked sites that we do not want to allow in our company. This has increased productivity and security on our network.

I understand that the best thing is the easy configuration for a fast implementation and that it has an economical licensing

Even having their benefits, they should innovate in certain things since the market is very tight and the needs and solutions have changed

Among the benefits is that it is ideal for SMEs, since they do not require a large investment
