What do you like best about the product?
I like about IBM Guardium Data Protection is thay easy to use and friendly interface. Data Protection is very good. We use frequency in day to day life. Easy of Integration. Friendly Customer support 24*7. and IBM Data Protection is used to implementation.

The best part is it's ability to provide countinous monitoring for sensitive data across the platforms.

It is very easy to obtain reports and manage the reporting interface. It also supports various platforms like SQL, IBM database, and Oracle.

The user interface could be improved and modernized. Additionally, IBM could enhance their support in some cases.

The product is very solid and stable, offering reliable protection.

The support could be improved, particularly regarding response times for some modules. I would rate their support a seven out of ten.

The pricing is good, and I have no problem with it. Although there is no flexibility to compete with other products, it generally costs between one hundred and three hundred thousand per year depending on the configuration and size of the installation.

I would recommend Guardium because it is a very solid and stable protection, mainly due to its extensive cloud coverage and support for multiple platforms.

It helps us with the visualization of the data and to monitor our databases. We also use it to send the logs to QRadar. For our organization, it has been very helpful in locating and discovering sensitive information in the databases. This function is vital for us.

The scalability is good, although sometimes we need to create new aggregators because the log files on the database become too big. However, we have handled it easily since we have done it numerous times.

The support from IBM is pretty good. We are a big client, and we receive excellent support from them. I would rate it a ten.

Here, we use IBM Security Guardium Data Protection for some databases and audit tools from Oracle for others. The switch to Guardium was likely due to commercial reasons and security considerations.

The initial setup was straightforward. It involves setting up the aggregator and the agents on the databases. In a big environment, it doesn't take too long.
What about the implementation team?
Three cybersecurity analysts maintain the solution, including myself. When the environment was created three years ago, I was not involved, but the deployment now is manageable with three people.

The return on investment is good for us. We use it almost every month due to our auditing needs, and it has helped us significantly.
