What do you like best about the product?
Database security Vendor assessment, end to end implementation of Guardium environment for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found this product leader considering the features it provides, database activity monitoring, VA, discovery, Entitlement reports, etc. the only thing I consider not up to the mark is limited reporting capability.c
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use cases like, DBA should not have access to critical commercial tables, VA, block access to sensitive data by users who should not access it

Database monitoring and compliance regulations
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option to uninstall guardium agents from GUI. You need server access for uninstalling the agents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we can monitor all activities of databases including what commands DBA is running and if any data is going outside the premises. Moreover, for compliance perspective we get aitomated reports. The main feature we use incluse s-gate where we only allow w access tp white listed users.

It is a usefull product to monitor your databases. We can block all kind of unwanted access

Customisation of policies according to organisations standard and security to confidential data captured by the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation of GIM agent is biggest challenge so far for huge organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the activities related to Database can be monitored with this tool. In addition you can configure S-GATE feature of the tool which provides you additional security to the database.

This is the best database activity monitoring solution we havein the market. Lots of big companies are implementing Guardium solution.
