What do you like best about the product?
1. Stability with the LTS Releases which means the server is good to run for years.
2. Selinux which is a real game-changer
3. In my previous organization I was using RHEL for hosting Oracle Database and no other OS came close when it boils down to support on the infra level.
4. Hosting a Production Database requires security and RHEL is unbeatable.
5. RHEL has a flexible subscription i.e., the licence can be transferred from 1 server to another or even a virtual one, furthermore the patches and updates are all part of the subscription.
6. RHEL's training program is simply amazing, you just pay a small amount for the infinite possibilities you can open with that training specifically RHCSA

What do you dislike about the product?
1. There is no perpetual licence fee, you have to renew the subscription every year.
2. Although the subscription fee is transferable but it's still on the higher side for startups and small scale industries, the basic subscription fee is less than $500 but for premium support it's more than $1000.
3. The upgrades can be painful

Redhat comes always first when we think about Secure and Reliable OS
What do you like best about the product?
Redhat is the best operating system for both the client and server sides. its Enterprise version support is awesome and good for our scalable and high-traffic application. OS security is always on high on Redhat, we can get its updates and security patches on regular basis. All the server management tools are available in the RHEL and the awesome part is its 'YUM' and 'RPM' repository which is very fast and easy to use for installing, updating, and uninstallation of library or application within Redhat OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
RHEL is slightly very heavy because of its highly scalable, Reliable, and Secure OS but it is not easy to operate like other Linux distros. Sometimes it takes time in rebooting process and the package version update should come first on RHEL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are migrating our windows based infra to Linux-based infrastructure and for that, we have purchased a licensed version of Redhat (RHEL), have installed it on VMware, and completed our infrastructure for high availability. It's easy to install because of the kind of support we get from the RedHat team. Through package manager, it was easy to install a web server in it and cron job made our routine job hassle-free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better for Secure, Reliable, and massive scalable OS and better for web servers either for database or application. highly recommend.
