Good tool for vendor management

Vendor management inventory, documenting and followups.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX needs to improve a bit, it's not very intuitive. Also the help menu should contain a lot more details as the learning curve is awful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anual reviews of reports from customers, just schedule the task, no more manual emails asking the customers for SOC2, ISO reports.
Supply chain security questions, just create a quiz and send it to relevant vendors.

Whistic for Vendor Risk Management
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like most about whistic is how seamlessly everything integrates together. The issues, the trust catalog, reporting on vendor entries. It took what used to be a process spanning multiple spreadsheets and make it whole into one centralized location.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm stretching here trying to find a negative, but if anything, the only true negative is the current risk recon integration. It's handy having the high level scores, but having the ability to potentially drill down into the issues or findings would be a fantastic addition.
Otherwise, regarding whistic itself, there is nothing that I truly dislike!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall time to conduct a vendor assessment (decreased significantly coming from our previous processes), increased transparency in seeing how far along a vendor is in completing their questionnaire, and improved communication with the vendor via the clarification requests directly through the platform.

It's allows us to manage our vendor review process much easily.
It has saved a lot of time allowing us to share standard questionnaires along with documentation with clients without having to answer questionnaires.

I like that I have all the documents I need to send to my customers in one place. No longer having to track them down saves me a ton of time!

Whistic Review - IT/SAML implementation
What do you like best about the product?
SAML support. I'm not a Whistic power user, as the (then) IT Sys admin, I helped implement it for our Security Director, and his team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementing SAML was a bit of an ordeal, we weren't able to do it without support from Whistic, though the support was great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps w/ security reviews for our security team and answering redundant questions.
Streamlines the Security Questionnaire process
What do you like best about the product?
We've found being proactive in sharing our security profile with prospects has cut down on the number of full questionnaires we have to answer. We'll get focused follow-up questions, but rarely a lengthy spreadsheet of questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI changes have taken some time to get used to. I haven't made up my mind if it's an improvement or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were receiving security questionnaires with a hundred or more questions (one was 800!). The time spent filling these in was a resource drain on pre-sales, sales and product development. Now we can proactively push the information out. Whistic has reduced the number of questionnaires we now have to fill in. It's more often a focused set of questions or a few clarifications.
Third-Party Risk Management made easy - thanks to Whistic!
What do you like best about the product?
Whistic makes managing a Third-Party Risk Management program so much easier! There is a lot of work, attention to detail and reviewing of documentation that encompasses third-party or vendor risk management. Still, Whistic makes it easier to manage by providing a platform that allows thousands of businesses an opportunity to get in front of questionnaires by providing their information in their profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Whistic - it is a wonderful platform! The only thing I can say is that there is room for product development - Whistic is always open to thoughts and ideas on upgrades to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am the only person managing the Third-Party Risk Management program at my company, which is a huge feat! However, since implementing Whistic within our process, I have been able to conduct remediation on our existing vendors and set up a process for handling new or prospective vendors on Whistic's platform. This results in time and cost savings for me and my company.
