Flexible, powerful Vendor Management SaaS Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Whistic has the tools to automate and scale third party vendor management, automating many of the mundane tasks of managing a vendor assessment portfolio and reducing the amount of non-value add work so you can focus on what's most important, identifying the risks in your vendor ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whistic is still a fairly young tool, so some less common workflows take some thought to implement. The team is receptive to product feature requests however, and has been excellent at incorporating feedback and proposing solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whistic helps us achieve our compliance obligations by ensuring vendor risk is consistently and objectively evaluated across our vendor space. Automation tools allow us to support our multinational organization's vendor security needs with a relatively small team. The value of the tool is enhanced by features such as the Trust Catalog which allow independent evaluations of vendor scoring to be pulled in as supporting evidence to our reviews.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think through all your assessment use cases before implementing, including how you will reassess vendors, how you will score questionnaires, etc. This will ensure there is less re-work as use expands.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Not having to deal with spreadsheets for sending security information back and forth. This is a significant help in terms of efficiency and ensuring items aren't missed. The responsiveness of the Whistic team is great when we encounter bugs or need help training someone on the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grouping can be difficult. We have a feature request to address this that is being worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the organization and partially the metrics problem around vendor security reviews. Automatically sending and then capturing the responses reduces time and effort in performing these reviews.
