GeoGaurd on AWS Marketplace
What do you like best about the product?
GeoGaurd listed on AWS Marketplace makes it easy for customers to take avantage of the extensive fraud detection, geofencing, and location intelligence technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product team is very knowledgable and customer service is spectacular, I don't have any dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GeoGaurd is helping our customers identify and block IP masking techniques.

Excellent Solution, No Hangups
What do you like best about the product?
Great geofiltering and geolocation capabilities that respond lightning fast to potential threats, helps avoid issues with VPN access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything has been a breeze with the solution, no complaints or hangups that we've identified.

Identifying potential threats to our VPN access, keeping our organization well connected and protected.

Best Geolocation/Geofiltering solution available
What do you like best about the product?
Geoguard capacity to address vulnerabilities related to VPN and proxies misusing, reducing such incoming threats, leaving us focusing on other aspects of security rather than Geo threats concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a very comprehensive database to support its intelligence, it seems to have a few options of integrations and ways to manage the data available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get the ability to identify video stream bad use and/or piracy made mostly through VPNs .
They have a deep understanding of Geolocation and VPN Blocking with excellent customer care to boot.
What do you like best about the product?
The Geoguard Team helped my team define our geolocation and geovalidation problems, as well as understand the scope of our existing service's limitations. I was able to use their deep understanding of the threats we are facing and make intelligent decisions regarding how best to defend our ecosystem from unwanted out of region access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thanks to the customer service and responsiveness of the GeoGuard Engineering team, I don't have any specific complaints. I trust their regular service updates and audits will continue to evolve as bad actors find new ways to defeat region defense solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I leveraged GeoGuard to develop strategies and mitigations to the threat of out-of-region service access and IP anonymization services and now have a clearer path forward towards engineering solutions to mitigate the problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Work with the sales team and have them evaluate your service. The team is engaged and has a great understanding of the VPN and GeoFencing world.
GeoGuard (EPD) review
What do you like best about the product?
It helps avoid customer's issues with VPNs access
What do you dislike about the product?
EPD is a productized Geocomply feed, and we are tied to whatever is available in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content owners are able to block VPN and proxies used by viewers or thieves without stream rights for a particular region to bypass geo-blocking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have customers using www.expressvpn.com and www.hidemyass.com for instance, for testing purposes. We need a way to provide a whitelist through our embedded services.

Problems with piracy, we have realized some contents that were stolen.

Solving ways to GTM and co-sell that can lead to scale activities. This is a process that takes time to refine and build out on both sides.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple integration and configuration with AWS WAF
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Ability to fine-tune and customize error messages and error codes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detecting and blocking anonymized traffic and connections to meet regulatory requirements and in turn, also seeing fewer connections that are looking to abuse location access restrictions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simply integrating with AWS WAF extends edge protection from anonymous traffic and connections with frequent, seamless updates.
