On a high level, Sophos is a one-stop solution for us since 2015 or maybe before that. We started using the Sophos Firewall to cater for the needs of network security, VPN...

I got a little annoyed while creating the port-forwarding. Could have been little easier. Just my thought . Could not be same for all.

Network Security, End-user VPN. Site to Site Tunneling are the major solutions that we use these Sophos XGS Devices for.

One of the biggest benefits of using Sophos firewall is its ability to prevent unauthorized access to our network. The firewall's built-in access control features allow us to create granular policies that restrict access to sensitive data based on user roles and network locations, which ensures that only authorized users can access sensitive information. Sophos firewall also provides a high level of visibility and control over network traffic. Sophos firewall is simply easy to use, from the brilliant easy-to-use user interface to the simple integrated hardware. Integrating the firewall with other third-party services was pleasant and efficient
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using the firewall is integrating the Sophos firewall with the Sophos central. The connection has not been fully integrated to present a better log collection platform.

Sophos firewall has created an easy-to-use interface for setting up rules, and VLANS and that has made it easier for a security officer to handle policies and develop regulations related to organizations.
A Great Alternative to Some of The Bigger Players In The Market
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos' firewalls do a great job of streamlining some of the more complex features available on most modern firewalls.
Things like configuring site-to-site tunnels require significantly fewer steps than a Meraki or Sonicwall.
Managing firewall rules and routing are also more intuitive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we have with the general Sophos line is being unable to have built-in LTE that allows for configuration over that LTE band backend.
This was the primary reason we switched over to another firewall vendor, however we do still utilize Sophos units with clients that do not wish to pay the monthly LTE service fee.

Sophos units make managing firewall functions easy. The object creation is straightforward and setting up firewall rules is easier, while requiring less steps, than other vendors on the market.
A complete way to centralyze and protect the environment
What do you like best about the product?
Trustworthy, strong, capable of mitigate, protect and control the network. I like the system for support control.

I don't remember right now what I do not like about it

Network administration, segmentation. Pretty accurate bandwidth control and user administration. It is currently protecting my organization from ports scan and DDoS attacks.

The feture and usage or implementing any policy is very easy.

Packate monitoring or in other word we need to monitor each user traffic in depth which we cannot in sophos.
