Boomi is our GoTo iPaas

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to make quick changes for testing different possibilities. I also love being able to manage all integrations from a single location.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some instances where the mappings are completely lost when a change is made to the profile. This doesn't always happen, but it's frustrating when it does. Especially when the client does not have version control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping businesses move from homegrown solutions to established cloud platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite. Also integrating cloud platforms for normal business flows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This will allow you to manage all your integrations and many of your workflows from a single location.

What do you like best about the product?
scalability, ability to quickly pivot and make changes to the integration as processes change
What do you dislike about the product?
it can get expensive and the base doesn't include caching
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
integrations. making systems talk to each other and automate the process of data moving. Benefits are that it's easier to make changes and quicker to deploy. And the process of moving data is now automated.

Amazing Tool

What do you like best about the product?
its branded connectors make integrations easy to manage and develop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Graphic limitations.
The whole development environment is graphical.
Some specific functions of programming like LOOP are not included. (But you can manually do a loop using sub processing)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just imagine that a big company contracts you to migrate or synchronize all its transactions from one system to other, with the maximum standards on security.

That's what AtomSphere can do and more.

I'm an Integration developer at Trajectory Inc. a Boomi and NetSuite partner company.
On our daily work, we create integrations between a wide variety of systems to NetSuite.

The key for the success on cases like the described above is Boomi AtomSphere.
With a wide support for standard and branded web services connections and using local and cloud atoms, Boomi can integrate basically everything.

Totally recommended.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
+implement loop features.
+keep improving the graphical environment.
Personally, I will like to see curves on the arrow indicators of the steps.

Dell Boomi Atomsphere

What do you like best about the product?
Boomi is extremely easy to learn and allows for quick development, deployment and monitoring of integrations. Atom architecture makes it very easy to securely access back-end and cloud-based systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Boomi does allow for viewing process details and data, which helps when developing and testing integration processes, debugging connections in general isn't very easy and requires more advanced logging and methods. Boomi allows for general alert notifications to users, but doesn't allow for subscribing at the process level without building into the process itself. Email notifications within a Boomi process take up a connector license and should be part of the general framework (not a connector). Boomi connector licensing doesn't scale to the scale/scope of the integration, so unfortunately, very simple integrations are too pricey to implement and require alternative tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single, simple, technology to develop and monitor most of our integrations. Enables business analysts to build and maintain integrations vs coding.

This product allows us to develop quickly with minimum time from Requirements gathering to Go-Live.

I have not found anything I dislike as of yet.

Excellent Integration Tool

  • May 01, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Boomi Suggest is such a great feature. It makes creating mapping so much easier. It would take much longer do this in code. The AtomSphere API is a great interface. It is very easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love the low latency features, but I really dislike how little you can see into a transaction when it is enabled. I know that is were some of the performance bumps come from, however if we could have a low latency on/off on the atom level it would be extremely useful to gather more information without starting from the build tab which introduces more risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex project that goes to many different 3rd parties. We would have had a difficult time working with their large API without Boomi. We also use Boomi frequently with our mainframe applications. This really helps eliminate some of the difficulties of integrating a mainframe with other systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I really enjoy integrating systems with this tool. We had a learning curve with the run time environment. We also found that the molecule does not work well for real time transactions. We saw better performance from load balancing two Atoms.

Leading Integration Platform

  • October 21, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Boomi allows for very rapid development of integrations. It also allows for creating reusable components to make maintenance across integrations easier.

Boomi has very powerful versioning and logging capabilities.

User management is extremely user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only major dislike is that Boomi does not support folder level permission to different integrations. This creates issues sometimes.

Other minor items:

There is no keyword search for large process logs.

Connections cannot be easily checked/tested when they are being created.

Boomi does not provide a native small database to be used for quick processes. It would be very helpful to have this available even when storage is not the purpose of Boomi, it would be very useful to provide a native database space workplace with limited in size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration and data transformation across systems.
Benefits of using Boomi over other products we have tested are clear, Boomi is robust and very user friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have not see any Boomi clients that after using it for a while, are not happy with the product. The only concern potential customers face is cost of for this platform.

Boomi is a great and intuitive tool that enables seamless integrations with practically any platform

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive for something that can be as powerful and versatile
What do you dislike about the product?
If I have to say anything I would say it is the missing native support for output to more file formats like XLSX and PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating with multiple platforms without invoking development teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a robust and powerful cloud integration platform - look no further. Boomi is exceptional at enabling customers to design integration processes and transfer data between applications and platforms.
