Simplified Media Management with Cloudinary
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate the metadata function in Cloudinary, as it allows me to efficiently sort and catalog our files. It is particularly useful for specifying vital information such as shooting dates and locations, product codes, as well as primary and secondary materials. Moreover, it facilitates the distinction between creations and raw visuals, and offers great utility for managing different file formats and orientations. By using Cloudinary, I can also avoid file duplicates and easily retrieve documents thanks to detailed metadata. This makes the display on our website and our Google campaigns much smoother and more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video studio feature on Cloudinary does not meet all my expectations. Ideally, I would like to be able to edit videos by adding text and integrating Excel files for translation to create adapted versions for different countries. Additionally, it would be very beneficial to have basic effects and transitions available to facilitate video editing directly on Cloudinary, which would allow us to have only one visual for all our languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cloudinary to avoid file duplicates and easily find our files through metadata, as well as to store and transform our assets for our site and campaigns.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when scrolling through large amounts of assets, it becomes laggy. I wish there were an easier way to locate images or if there was some way to search details of an images and it were able to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudinary helps take some time off of our creative teams' hands and creates a bridge with the marketing team. It also helps us have all assets in one place that have the correct URL to use on the site.
Intuitive Scaling, High Costs
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the URL syntax in Cloudinary, which allows me to apply all desired transformations. This enables flexible and efficient image processing directly via the URL, without the need for additional development resources. This offers a great time saving and significantly simplifies the workflow. The initial setup was very easy and pleasant, which made it easier to start using it. I can use Cloudinary seamlessly in my development environment and have integrated it as a plug-in in Visual Studio Code, which further simplifies handling and ensures a smooth workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The maximum limits, even in the simpler plans, should be improved. The cost structure also starts very expensive.

Effortless Asset Organization and Sharing
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
You can't reverse search an image - if I have an asset I've found, but don't know where it's stored in cloudinary, I can't search using the image. A feature similar to google image search would be useful.

I am able to share new assets with the wider business by uploading them. The metadata and tagging features are great for enabling me to organise the assets better for the wider team.
