What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
This is a powerful tool with integrated ETL and the ability to handle huge data sets. It's capable of building intuitive and interactive dashboard designs.
What is most valuable?
The best features include ETL. Transforming data with complex logic can be done within the tool.
The Nprinting is useful. With it, we're scheduling reports directly to end-users.
What needs improvement?
I'd like to see more end-user-friendly UI designs and the ability to layer objects one by one would make a huge impact.

I've been working with Qlik Sense for more than seven years now.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
My entire career I've only dealt with Qlik only.
Efficient data compression
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of execution over large queries and it's efficient data compression. Natural analytics and data discovery. Data collaboration and connectivity is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has a lack of pdf static report creation as well as static report email and sharing option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time data analysis is excellent. Data management is something extraordinary which helps to find out our company profit and loss sheet regionally.
Flexible tool to building custom reports
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility and ability of the tool to connect with multiple platforms to fetch raw data and convert the same into useful insights as required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say UI is the one thing, which I do not like.

Using QlikView, I am able to create customized reports basis the requirements.

What I like best about Qlik Sense is the modernity of the analytics platform making it easy for all business teams within the company to have the same insights about the data we are dealing with!

The only think I dislike about Qlik Sense is that it provides no real split between what features and functionnalities are available in each of the deployment options

It helps us in our daily activities creating executive dashboards for the top management and englobing all the insights and predictions concerning data from different business teams within the company such as: marketing, sales, HR...
I use qlikview since its version 10 and it is currently in version 12 (we are using qliksense now)
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve for self-discovery of information for business users is very fast. As developers, the associative character and the speed of data loading is essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is really not very friendly is the qlikview server administration console. Just in version 12 we had a task finder. The use of the users' TShared is not well detailed and the license management could be greatly improved.

Since its implementation, its use has been expanding within the organization both at the managerial level with dashboards, and for end users who require a very detailed level of granularity.

What do you like best about the product?
In my organization, we use Qlik Sense for interactive data visualization and analysis through dashboards, charts and graphs. I liked how customizable it is and the flexibility in allowing us to work with a wide range of data sources and connectors. Although it is not the most intuitive software, learning to use it is not impossible. Once mastered, it makes it possible to provide all the information users need and customize it according to their needs. It is also excellent when creating reports and has functions and filters that simplify the search for information and export data in different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most striking disadvantages of Qlik Sense are the structuring of its prices that make it an expensive software and the learning curve it imposes; it takes some time to adapt and access the many benefits it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had an excellent experience as consumer users of Qlik Sense, it integrates with multiple data sources and connectors, and its data collection, visualization, analysis and export methods have had a significantly good impact on reporting and troubleshooting within the organization's work areas, KPI layout and management, sales and much more. It has helped us exponentially improve our outreach, insights, and business decision-making.

Qlik Sense enables business understanding even for more "old-fashioned" users. It allows for detecting Business problems and immediately acting on them.

I don't like Qlik that it doesn't have the possibility to connect independent users like Power BI

Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik is very easy to use. You don't have to be a developer to create visualizations. We have quite a few business users that do great work in Qlik. I also like the variety of sources that you are able to connect to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't one thing in particular I dislike. Licensing can get a little expensive if you have a lot of users that will be accessing it. Because of this, we have to have another reporting tool for external users.

Qlik Sense provides our users with real-time data. They are able to make data-informed decisions and really dig into the data that is making up the visualizations and KPIs.
