Easy and quick to use and understand
What do you like best about the product?
QlikSense is intuitive and easy to use and understand. This is crucial when dealing with clients that are not very familiar with dashboards or data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more access to various themes on hand, instead of having to manually create them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used QlikSense as an alternative to other BI platforms and found that the client was much more at ease when using this platform

Incredible platform to develop every data analysis project
What do you like best about the product?
- ETL module
- possibility to define formulas inside the UI and charts
- The associative engine to dive into data
- The geo analytics tools (even if I should test more)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Automatic resizing of layouts: sometime it make very difficult to read and very complicated to manage
- For the SAAS version (Qlik view business edition), the impossibility to load data from a local directory (the need to upload data in a single cloud folder make very confused and complicated the management of different apps)

End to end solution, speed of implementation, data transformation, ease of use

Export to Excel - too many clicks and dont want to save file first. Want it to behave like QlikView

Limitation in computing power makes it slow at times

With using Qlik Sense Data Analytics our quality of data made a huge leap forward.

Be aware to think about wording of KPIs and all other customizing.

What do you like best about the product?
So we have shifted to Qlik since last three years, Journey since then it was smooth with some challenges, Whats amazing about Qlik is its inbuild ETL capability, Associative data linking as well as enhanced visualizations through internal qlik or through external extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few things one is We started with View and then transitioned to sense which was not easy cauz user had expectations in a same way. other than that evrything was smooth to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One most important thing is we did all data warehousing in qlik, which saved quite a money on other stack. Also linking with multiple sources was easier with Qlik Api's

If you want visualization tool with ETL compatibility and better develpoer support definitely i will vouch for it.

customization of the chart is limited to a certain extent, on chart tooltip, there will be an option to add another chart as well like tableau offers

1. Very powerful visualization 2. End to end ETL process along with data storage doubling up as a data warehouse 3. Community of extensions and products to extend the platform 4. Use of use for end users

1. Lack of real -time/streaming mechanism 2. Lack of good source control and deployment mechanisms

Lack of centralized data platform environment was the problem we set out to solve. With Qlik, we now have everything centralized and users have a powerful way to visualize data

Train end users well to get them to adopt the platform fully. Stay connected to Qlik community to get the most out of new solutions and products. Build a robust deployment toolset and source code control

Nothing so far, I have been using qlik now for more than 2 years.

What do you like best about the product?
Datahandling. Data loading and manipulation is the best to work with. Other tools don't have the easy access of doing those tasks. With all my clients there were some addtional changes nessceray and with other tools its not easy to do. Databases would need to be updated and this takes time and stops the process of developing a application.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could me more visualzation objects, some of them are not easy to change to get to the clients needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most likely all of my clients want to have an automation for the reports they are working with and trying to understand their data.

Qlik Sense is a lot easier to use then other business intelligence softwares. It is easy to implement and solutions are being produced fast and with high quality.

What do you like best about the product?
Whilst Sense can be used to easily bring in data, using drag and drop, it is the powerful scripting capabilities that set it apart. This allows connecting to multiple data sources, cleansing and blending of data prior to visualising it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of search in variable dialog can make finding code difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a consultant I go into many businesses, in various industries, and help them get value from their data. Having a tool that makes this process quick and engaging for the user is a great help.

This is a great tool, if you have data (and who doesn't) you should check it out.
