Incredible easy to visualize your AWS cloud infrastructure

  • October 22, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The 3D view and integration with AWS (with sync feature) makes it super easy to visualize and to maintain in real time your cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Architect tried a lot of tools but none of them had the impact Cloudcraft diagrams produced on clients as they remain amazed on how much they can see about how their actual or proposed infrastructure is.
Even to teach about AWS cloud infrastructure and services it makes it a great all around tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing, while you keep it for a single user is the best tool around, but you scale to $ 49 per user even if you want to add a small team to the editing of the diagrams.
Some AWS resources are still not available as a component and you can only add them as an icon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design of infrastructure and application data flows for different projects on AWS. The major benefit so far is that it makes really easy people that is not fully into AWS cloud to understand the infrastructure design proposals. Also was a great tool to present some colleagues infrastructure ideas at early stages of design.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should really take advantage of the live monitoring and budgeting features

Easy to use, effective and eye-catching

What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, fast to learn and gives unexpected results in presentations even to non-tech-savvy people.
Import function has a great potential for both discovery and planning. We really like it!
They also have a Trello board for upcoming feature and feature requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being multi-cloud would be a great addition.
Starting from icons will be a major step. Calculator and import will be nice to have, but not a must have.
First step could be just a set of icons and we could use software for its graphical appearance. And it will be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drawing architectures and make cost calculations is a major work.
Represent them in a good looking way is a very important part of our job.
Do both requirements fast and easy is a really appreciated functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy and rewarding.
My boss is happy to see eye-catching pictures of architectures in presentation and I'm happy I can create them easily.
Giving a fast estimate during work is a nice function too.

Excellent for prototyping an architecture

  • October 22, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, in the first steps of an architectural design it is important to have a tool like this where you can put and move components through a friendly UI. The cost estimation is very good and key for an early budget.
The visualization tools are always an excellent ally to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably it is a bit expensive for only one user or little projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach about Cloud Computing, so I recommend it to my students for their practices and projects. They are OK with the Free Tier. In my own company, I use it for the early designs of our projects, mostly related to Internet of Things.

The user interface is really simple and clean and it is a great tool for building AWS online. It is really easy to import AWS from Account to Cloudcraft. It's the best app for beginners to build and develop architectures. Cloud connection is an awesome feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can add a lot of new features, but overall, it's great and very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Cloudcraft acts like a charm. It enables me to design my infrastructure and to create very simple and attractive diagrams of architecture. I still recommend Cloudcraft to them when someone asks me about making architectural diagrams.

Beautiful AWS Visualizations

  • October 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The high quality of the visuals the tool produces, especially the isometric view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing features could be more granular to support the "extras" such as storage and network interconnects. Would be great if it supported Azure and GCP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining a better understanding of how cloud components fit together to form modular and scalable solutions. Useful internally and for customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have nothing to lose with a free trial! I'm sure that continuing improvements will make this a tool I'll have to take a fresh look at soon.
