Good Application Network Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
It was helpful to figure out the traffic flows in the network. Saved us time. Had some questions which we needed to go and reach out to support for which got resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the individuals I spoke to had difficulty understanding my questions. Communication was challenging, but we got there in the end. I was satisfied with the answer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we have problems in needing to map out application traffic in the network, Algosec is one of the first pieces of software that I think of.
Great product for reviewing firewall policies & determining traffic paths

Security reviews & ratings of the firewall policies & and determining where firewall rules are required.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to add all your devices to get the full picture of your network layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firewall policy security ratings can be obtained, allowing you to identify and rectify the security issues and improve your security rating over time.
Best of the Bread Firewall Analyzer with Great Visibility.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing Cross-Platform Firewalls like Palo Alto and Checkpoint was never easy without AlgoSec, as they both have different definitions. Unlike others, it leverages the routing data with the topologies of the FW using, which helps a lot from the visibility perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Traffic Simulation and Fire flow can use some improvement. User-defined flow customization needs a good amount of training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After the technical analysis, we found AlgoSec advanced over the competition in every aspect that makes us go towards it. we were looking for a solution that could utilize our limited physical resources to manage multi-vendor firewalls.

What do you like best about the product?
The best is Firewallanylizer and Fireflow (ITSM tool), which is perfectly developed according to industry standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
From Firewallanylizee, we can only push FW rules, but you can push the security profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With FW compliance, we can resolve all FW compliance in the audit report (PCI)

The policy optimization part of the firewall analyzer is the best one. You can see whole traffic for each rule. Also network map and outnumbered compliance reports

Maybe troubleshooting can be easier when someone uses the orchestration solution AFA, AFF and AppViz.
Also, documentation can improve for orchestration end-customers.

Algosec is super easy to use and integrates well with major firewall vendors and easy to monitor traffic and update policy changes

The ease and convenience of using the tool clubbed with its power-packed capabilities help us provide thorough & convincing reporting for our clients.

Some features like reporting require too much customization

It helps us to simplify the process that we had previously and in this way we save time
My experience with the product is that very easy to setup, upgrade and use.
