Algosec -the best tool for Analyzing Firewalls
What do you like best about the product?
Firewall Analyzer analyzes and provide us the complete view of the risks associated with the rules, any recent changes to the firewall, topology view, policy optimization of all the firewalls on a single centralized platform.
Intelliget tool, cut down the manual efforts for identifying the issues or the risks.

What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support security profile while creating a rule from Algosec.

Regulatory compliance has given a weightage benifit for auditing purpose.

I just want to work with Algosec. Working withaut Algosec is a challenge.

Excellent product to manage multiple vendor firewalls. Reporting Tool, MAP and Risk features are fabulous.

Excellent product but not upto the mark for Palalto firewalls.

What do you like best about the product?
Algosec is really easy to install and configure on an environment. It does not matter Cloud or on prem deployments. It is veery smooth to collect traffic logs and audits
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of L2 and L3 Switches cannot integrate with solution. With the helping of this integration, visibility and access control may easily evaluated by automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Algosec to combine technolgy and consultancy services. By this way, we may create an end to end solution for customers. For example Firewall Maturity Analysis and security hardening.

What do you dislike about the product?
Obsession for Customer Satisfaction. Nothing comes to mind in terms of things that need to be improved. In terms of additional features in the next release, more integration with SD-WAN would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is already one of the best solutions in its category. Honestly, I have nothing to recommend but I am waiting for the R&D team to develop new features. I mostly have some problems with the integration process. Maybe the integration manual document can be released by AlgoSec and also by the vendors themselves. It is not directly related to AlgoSec.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe the customization of dashboards should be simplified and more user-friendly. Customization inside the domain level needs to be improved.

I don't have any dislike. ı like alogsec. I have used tuffin but alogsec better than tuffin

You can do that a lot of automation for example firewall upgrade can do that automatically

My Algosec Rep is instrumental in helping me close large deals inside some difficult accounts. Always a pleasure to work with!

No downside as of now. Every time I work with the team the information I receive is timely and accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My client uses Algosec for security policy management. I don't have specific details to provide at this time.
Algosec works well to glue together interop
What do you like best about the product?
Integration between disparate networks and security products. It also helps to automate rule changes - I've had multiple customers use it successfully to 'glue' together stuff like NSX and Firepower firewalls. Also helps make auditors go away because you can give them readonly access to AlgoSec to see rules and not mess with production gear.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation is not quite as robust as I'd like at times. This knowledge is a little dated though - I haven't tried to do this in a few years so it may have leveled up in the last few years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've helped customers glue together disparate gear and have synchronized policies. It saves a TON of manhours to no longer duplicate rules and makes change boards a little faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Algosec doesn't have quite as nice of a GUI as some of their competitors but I've found their automations work better.
