Algosec is a great product for firewall overview and analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use Firewall analyzer, that makes it easy to see where to poke a hole or if something should be closed
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to add new functionality like Cisco ACI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to easy identify firewall port openings, and cleanup old rules.

What do you like best about the product?
Algosec is extremely easy to install and deploy. Then configuration and integration with the other products is also very easy. It also has user friendly web based GUI. WebGUI is working well with all different browsers without any problem.

What do you dislike about the product?
Algosec doesn't have endpoint vulnerability reports as I know. If it has my bad, if it doesn't have it can be considered as a new feature request. I cannot find any disliked issue honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Algosec, we can easiliy point out the weak points of our firewalls. It could be a rule which is created by mistake or it can be a configuration written by inexperienced administrator. We can harden the ruleset and our security level is getting higher by Algosec.

What do you dislike about the product?
after using the tool for 2 years pretty much has been improved and nothing is left behind to dislike AlgoSec.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance checks for list of security controls is truly great apart from customizing the baseline compliance profiles, customization of reports with the help of elastic kibbana is amazing, Swagger tool offers API SOAP integrations with ease GUI interface.

Algosec puts the power to handle FW openings in the hands of Frist Line without compromising security.

There is quite a bit of work needed "under the hood" to make things run smoothly.

It moves a lot of work load from the top tier techies to the helpdesk crew.

What do you like best about the product?
Algosec is great in firewall rules optimizer and it got many filters for segregating the rules according our requirements. Multiple rules can be classified with algosec and this one of the plus point algosec have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Algosec can work on improving the filters and changes in maintaining the rules of firewall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We got mutiple rules in each and every firewall and it is tough to optimize the rules as per their requirements so algosec is one of good solutions to reduce this work for us.

Hotfixes and patches are late compared to other security products, they need to improve this point and work on enhancing the required patches to solve different issues.
