Amazing product and their dashboard is very intutive

Algosec is super easy to use and integrates well with major firewall vendors and easy to monitor traffic and update policy changes

nothing to mention, had no issues with the product

Monitoring security policies, their certification training is great for deploying the product.

The ease and convenience of using the tool clubbed with its power-packed capabilities help us provide thorough & convincing reporting for our clients.

Some features like reporting require too much customization

The centralized management of Network Security policies across multiple devices and platforms, automated rule and policy optimization to improve network performance and security, Integration with other security tools, such as vulnerability scanners and intrusion detection systems to provide a more comprehensive security solution, compliance management features that helps to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, last but not least realtime visibility and reporting on network activity and security events.
Overall, Algosec´s integration with Cisco ACI can provide organizations with a more comprehensive and automated security management solution, allowing them to better protect their networks while also improving network performance and compliance.

So fare no bad experience, but it seems to be difficult to integrate multiple security vendors.

More and more infrastructure is moving into cloud. The big amount of security rules can be dramatically reduced!

What do you like best about the product?
Algosec is not just a solution for a firewall. Because, firewall, data center switch, web proxy, load balancer etc. It can be integrated with many different systems. It is easy to use. The analysis reports it produces are very valuable and life-saving.
It scores according to both security, baseline and related regulation. It is also very important that there are many different regulation support such as PCI, SOC, ISO.

What do you dislike about the product?
Technically I like the product. However, I do not like the way of licensing products in the Turkish market. I think this is a very serious problem in terms of competition. I have stated this several times; but I guess it was ignored. Product licensing in the Turkish market is not annual like other products, you have to purchase at least 2 years. For example, this is not very true because the product should be purchased for 1 year. I agree, the product is a product that should be used for a long time; but the decision should be made by the person who will use the product, not the manufacturer. Another problem is that even if you only use this product for 1 firewall, they sell you licenses for at least 5 devices or 5 cluster devices. In other words, it's like taking a cow home instead of having to drink a glass of milk... This situation makes the brand lose a lot of business in terms of competition. In addition, the product is priced as a subscription model. I think it should be both a subscription and a perpetual model. I hope someone takes my advice into consideration.

Algosec will not only scan devices for security prespective but it will also help to identify the operational issue in network devices.

Sync b/w algosec and network devices are usually lost and administration interfaces are slight hard and not user friendly
