Great tool to automate changes and increase visibility over firewall configurations.
What do you like best about the product?
Firewall Analyzer is a great tool that simplifies the application discovery process and ruleset clean-up and Fireflow allows us to same a lot of time when changes are required, using zero-touch change management
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to highlight, just working fine for us and our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firewall change management and policies clean-up is now more automated and simplified, allowing to same time when changes are required and ensuring that our team members stay focus on other network security activities.
Algosec makes me have clear picture of what flows on my network.
What do you like best about the product?
Intelligent Policy Tunner made me have ip address savings knowing which firewall rules were not in use, it allowed me disable unnecessary communication, and increase safety and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The session that recommends Consolidate firewall rules does not take in account policies that I'm sanitizing, so i have to ignore some recommendations to keep clearing my firewall rules
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick view of needed policies, but mainly it makes me save time, improves productivity and increases security of environment.

It can perform various analyses of security configurations of the vast set of security appliances.
Reporting options are very robust and allow presenting information in an easy-to-understand form.
It is easy to spot change versions and differences between them in change management.

What do you dislike about the product?
Log management and log processing. Given the current number of logs, processing and obtaining utilization reports is challenging. Also, I would like to see development in analyzing Broadcom's proxy security policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance and reporting. It helps create compliance reports, especially with preset compliance registers. Integrating your own risk register, makes easy compliance report
Algosec is terrible!
What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing to like about Algosec. They overcharge for basic stuff that other vendors provide better quality and cheaper. Their marketing team is sketchy & support is non existent. Their UI is clumsy and as a company they are really struggling to generate any enthusiasm amongst the customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything, especially the marketing team, is desperate to gather any real interest from the customer world. The product is subpar in almost every way possible, the code is buggy, and people are challenging to work with.

FireFlow for Network Security Requests
What do you like best about the product?
FireFlow integrates with existing ticket system via API. This provides one stop shop for business end users. Customized workflows allow for adaptable processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have struggled with Map Accuracy using Algosec in our network. The solution does not fully integrate with all dynamic objects in our firewall solution so sometimes we need to get creative with fudging the requirements of a request and putting the details elsewhere in the request such as the comments. This does take away from automating such requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leveraging Algosec's integration with the existing ticketing system creates some automated processes that alleviates some of the paperwork burden on our engineers.

Best firewall policy optimizer with auto change
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Algosec for its ease of installation and integration with other products. The user-friendly web-based interface is also a plus, as it works seamlessly across different browsers. Additionally, the reports and results provided by the tool are reliable and useful in identifying vulnerabilities in our firewall configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One potential downside is that Algosec currently does not have endpoint vulnerability reports. However, this is a small issue and overall I cannot find any major downside to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algosec is helping us improve our network security by identifying and addressing weaknesses in our firewall rules and configurations. This is beneficial for our organization as it allows us to harden our security and increase our overall level of protection.
