Easy-to-Use Snowflake UI with Broad Tool Compatibility
What do you like best about the product?
the user interface was very easy to understand and use. not only that, snowflake has compatibility with various tools to ingest and export data.
What do you dislike about the product?
pricing is a bit complex to understand and expensive. it does not support native etl transformations as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i used snowflake to create very complex sql cte's which helped me in my project very much. it gave a summarised view on the top of the results giving me info about how many values are null, etc. it has very good performance when it comes to complex queries
Smooth, Scalable Data Platform with Flexible Compute/Storage Separation
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake has been part of my daily workflow for quite some time and it scales smoothly without requiring any manual effort on my end. Its integrations with tools like Python, Tableau, APIs and cloud storage services have been reliable, stable and straightforward to maintain over time. I also appreciate the separation of compute and storage, which keeps the such as workload isolation, data sharing and suppot for external stages help me handle different use cases more cleanly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t run into any issues so far, everything is ok works as expected for regular use. New users provide $400 credits in the first months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake takes a lot of the complexity out of infrastructure management and lets me stay focused on building data solutions. I can scale resources up or down whenever I need and I’m able to run multiple workloads in parallel without running into performance problems. From ingestion to transformation and reporting, everything lives in one place, which boosts productivity and keeps my workflows clean, organized and easy to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
Pretty good and easy to use data warehouse tool ,it have option of SQL/ snowpark .You can build ETL using SQL .They also added ML/AI features that's pretty good looking at market trend. It works well with BI tool like powerbi and sigma computing
What do you dislike about the product?
It is bit complicated for beginner to understand the snowflake with many feature. Credit can add up if you're not looking at credit usage

Keeps all our data in one place no more juggling multiple tools. Analytics, reporting, and app development all happen in Snowflake, which keeps things simple and fast.

Snowflake Native Apps and Openflow should be more easy to learn for beginners. Better documentation is needed.

One downside of Snowflake is that costs can rise quickly if usage isn’t monitored closely. The pricing model can also feel a bit complex to understand at first. In addition, there’s a learning curve for new users, especially when it comes to optimizing queries and managing warehouses efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake helps us manage and analyze large volumes of data efficiently without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. We can scale resources up or down on demand and run multiple workloads in parallel without running into performance issues. As a result, our data processing is faster, maintenance takes less effort, and we’re able to make quicker, data-driven decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is SQL-agnostic, so you don’t need to learn other programming languages to get started. It’s an easy ecosystem to enter and stay in. A lot of open-source tools natively support Snowflake, like dbt, Dagster, and Fivetran. Snowflake also has built-in AI features like Cortex code, which is very good to use. On top of that, there’s a wide variety of capabilities—such as API integrations, external stages, different user profiles, and security policies—and all of these can be
implemented using just SQL.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really liked snowflake as a data warehouse but there are too many features are open source tools all bundled inside snowflake , and snowflake has introduced a lot of AI features like cortex analyst which are good for UI friendly POC's but I prefer code-agnostic tools

I really love snowflakes data warehousing capabilities like time travel, all data in one place , every user can have his own permissions , access controls,

Cost-Effective, Easy-to-Use Snowflake with Great Performance and Support
What do you like best about the product?
the cost is less compared to other Datawarehouse's, The UI is so neat and easy to understand,the user experiance is also good, we can integrate snowflake with dbt and other tools, the query performance is also good, And the support team is always reachable, It has new ai features like cortex code , its a game changer

I used snowflake polaris iceberg catalog , It can be improved

It solves the Data warehousing and Data migration , Data Ingestion, Transformation, It solves all the ETL problems and it is very useful if you are building streamlit apps and it has a marketplace were you can download or publish the content. The new AI Cortex Code Is the game changer , It reduces the time for Data Engineers

Snowflake has nothing for me to dislike, easy platform to configure after short learning process and helpful customer support community.

Creating real time data reports, multiple data visualization, data synchronization, data transfer and different data storage management Snowflake is the most effective tool.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a cloud-based data management tool. It’s one of the best tools for data integration, governance, and migration, and it’s easy to use with a UI-friendly interface. Anyone can use it easily and they also provide customer support if need any help, they provide trainings also to the users and help them manage their data.. I also find it easy to use, thanks to a user-friendly interface and an overall UI that feels intuitive and straightforward.

As of now, the cost for some services is pretty high, but it does provide good-quality service overall, so I think it’s good.

It solves the problem of data management and data silos that often occur in large MNCs with huge amounts of data stored in their legacy systems across different applications and databases. It helps them bring everything together and create meaning from the data, so they can use that refined data to support the company’s growth.
