Matillion, many times, the problem has been solved for the business.

Extremely easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I come from a ETL/Data Engineering background and have worked on Ab Initio and Azure Data Factory for quite long. I found Matillion very easy to use and intuitive. I also liked the fact that finally a product is there which uses the power of DataBricks but you do not have write lines of code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, very few video tutorials are available for using Matillion on Azure and connecting to Azure Synapse. Most of the material/videos available now are focused on AWS.
The free subscription duration for new users and learners is 15 days. I feel that is way less and would like to see it increased.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I prefer to think of Matillion as a cloud agnostic ETL tool. Using Matillion, one is not limited to the ETL/Data Engineering tool provided by the cloud vendor.

What do you like best about the product?
The most fascinating thing about Matillion is the No-Code drag drop component based orchestration & Transformation flows and the wide array of integrations inside ETL and the data loader.Best subscription model along with easy sclaing. The Matillion API is one of the most used interface in our organisation
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is excelling in extraction,Transformation and ease of accessibility it has this downside where users Te not able to create upstream applications integrations like JIRA ticket creation, Lead generation on events. Basically upstream integration is still a bottleneck.

Easily integrating with tools like Jira, aws, Salesforce, APIs

Matillion is great tool for data engineering and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Matillion ETL for several months now, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the platform. It has made our data integration processes much more efficient and streamlined, and has significantly reduced the time and effort required to manage our data pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope Matillion will improve the git integration and make it more efficient interns of deployment of pipeline between environments. And use an external registry that will work as an interface between Matillion and the backend for repository.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the things I appreciate most about Matillion ETL is its ease of use. The visual interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and makes it easy to create and manage data pipelines without requiring extensive technical knowledge or coding skills. The pre-built connectors for popular databases and applications are also a huge time-saver, and the ability to create custom connectors as needed is a great feature.
Very easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn if you're familiar with any other data transformation tool. Allows easy drag and drop but also offers full power of native SQL or Python when needed. Very good value for money - scales very well, also for small use cases. Uses the processing power of modern cloud data warehouses by using SQL pushdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI sometimes is a bit clunky and not very state of the art. You need to familiarize with some tips and tricks to work around those quirks. The application connectors still require a lot of customization compared to a specialized EL tool like Fivetran.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extract data from various sources into our cloud data warehouse and then transform it into meaningful data to enable analysis of business use cases. Orchestrate and automate all repetitive tasks for data loading including error handling and notifications.

Many data sources with complex transformation and correlation
Transformation of the data in different format for the reporting layers
What do you like best about the product?
Loading data and transformation is as simple in a technical way and without complications. Understanding the software is easy.

No cons, for now, have enriched and got to know the specifications from the broader perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extracting and moving the data and changing its shape for the analytics-ready is more simple and easy to function
A good ETL tool where you don't have to worry about setting it up (a good scheduler built-in)
What do you like best about the product?
There's no need to spend much time setting it up. You can dive in right away and start configuring your pipelines. The components provided are more than enough for a typical ETL. It covers all types of data sources including the script support if one needs to write custom logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project structure can a bit confusing at times. Also, people have a hard time understanding how it is coupled with the redshift instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done a typical full load and incremental loads from postgres to redshift.

1) SSO enabled GIT cant be integrated with Matillion
2) CSV response API calls cannot be handled using the native API client.
3) Scheduling functionally can be improved by providing more features like explicit calendars etc ..

5) Expect slowness in login for the very first time
6) EC2 maintenance could have been taken care by Matillion team like snowflake.

We are building enterprise data warehouse using Matillion ETL . Since most of the source data available for us are in the cloud and that help us to take the advantage of cloud power to perform faster data loads .
So many native connectors are available to connect various applications ..
Could maintenance and migration became so simple .
Mainly we don't need a powerful machine to build ETL anymore.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it if you have you other application on cloud already (AWS/AZURE/GOOGLE CLOUD etc) .. License cost is much cheaper when compare to other applications in Market , Since its a pay as you go system you need to pay only when you use it . That is something great!
