What do you like best about the product?
The most fascinating thing about Matillion is the No-Code drag drop component based orchestration & Transformation flows and the wide array of integrations inside ETL and the data loader.Best subscription model along with easy sclaing. The Matillion API is one of the most used interface in our organisation
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is excelling in extraction,Transformation and ease of accessibility it has this downside where users Te not able to create upstream applications integrations like JIRA ticket creation, Lead generation on events. Basically upstream integration is still a bottleneck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily integrating with tools like Jira, aws, Salesforce, APIs
Vast API base for scheduling and automating workflows
No code transformations and very good SQL integration
Cool UI and user friendly
Shared jobs are best

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Matillion ETL for several months now, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the platform. It has made our data integration processes much more efficient and streamlined, and has significantly reduced the time and effort required to manage our data pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope Matillion will improve the git integration and make it more efficient interns of deployment of pipeline between environments. And use an external registry that will work as an interface between Matillion and the backend for repository.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the things I appreciate most about Matillion ETL is its ease of use. The visual interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and makes it easy to create and manage data pipelines without requiring extensive technical knowledge or coding skills. The pre-built connectors for popular databases and applications are also a huge time-saver, and the ability to create custom connectors as needed is a great feature.

What do you like best about the product?
1. the user interface is easy to understand and setup
2. easy to setup batch jobs
3. provide the support to setup workloads on aws and snowflake
4. git integration enable version control
What do you dislike about the product?
1.git repo is hard to read, all json files
2. no CICD enabled
3. hard to do unit test
4. data load component we used to ingest fata from sql server into snowflake does not have retry function
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. data ingestion from multiple fata sources, like http, s3 and sql server
2. data teamsformation to join multiple fata sources together for final report
3. data orchestration for batch jobs

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn if you're familiar with any other data transformation tool. Allows easy drag and drop but also offers full power of native SQL or Python when needed. Very good value for money - scales very well, also for small use cases. Uses the processing power of modern cloud data warehouses by using SQL pushdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI sometimes is a bit clunky and not very state of the art. You need to familiarize with some tips and tricks to work around those quirks. The application connectors still require a lot of customization compared to a specialized EL tool like Fivetran.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extract data from various sources into our cloud data warehouse and then transform it into meaningful data to enable analysis of business use cases. Orchestrate and automate all repetitive tasks for data loading including error handling and notifications.

Matillion also offers a number of advanced features for more experienced users, such as the ability to write custom code using Python or SQL, and support for advanced data processing tasks such as data masking and data quality checks

Decrease the trade-offs while Upgrading Matillion's Version

What do you like best about the product?
I like it's visualistic approach and user friendliness user interface with less complexity. Drag and drop functionality increases the ease of use. It has pay as you go so you only pay for what you use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few connectors doesn't work well when it comes to legacy systems.
When it comes to support it takes a lot of time to to resolve the query through support. Scheduling functionality needs some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Execution is much faster and better user interface solves lot of problems as ease of use make it benefitting. Cheap for organization's as you pay only for what you use.
