What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go in an review the individual taxability categories, download reports, and the Vertex community has a number of articles that can be referenced.
What do you dislike about the product?
With removing support of certain conditional rules but keeping the rules in the system, it can be difficult to follow the trail of what is still in use and what new conditional rules should be utilized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The launch of Vertex Community was helpful in finding more searchable articles to solve problems, and I apprecitate the trying to clean up or streamline the taxability categories.

Vertex continues to improve and evolve for the customer, with current availability as well as listening to customer's for continuous improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Log files available in the cloud environments instead of having to request them.

Simplifying the indirect tax process for customers, exemption certificate management.

I like the flexibility tax decision making. The complete set of rates and tax area codes are great.

The cost. Taxability drivers are a bit difficult to use and it would be helpful to be more intuitive .

What do you like best about the product?
I am a Sr. Tax Analyst at my company, and I really enjoy that Vertex already has the mapping configurated for our business. The research has already been done and we are not having to guess the tax code for our products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Vertex already has the research done for our business specific tax codes, it would be very useful for Vertex to implement a feature where the research is done. Currently, we have to 1) go to state websites to find the research or 2) go to another tax research engine to find results for the tax determination already provided by Vertex. It would be great if Vertex was a one stop shop when it came down to retrieving the research.

Vertex is our tax engine and provides all the tax outcomes for our customer's invoices.
