Vertex creates efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Vertex is a user friendly application that provides accurate tax decisioning in the Leasing Industry. It takes puts tax in control of decisions and reduces audit risks. Most Lease Management Systems have standard integrations with Vertex O series that creates an efficient process to get accurate tax results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to using Vertex if you are in the Leasing Industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex solves complex tax decision processes and eliminates the need for additional configuation in Leasing Management Systems to obtain correct tax results.

Expensive solution!!
Packaged for for entire region, even if needed for just one country inthe region ( eg. for using Australia content need to suscribe to APAC). No A La Carte option

What do you like best about the product?
Besides the software, the customer service accessibility
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it appears the customer service staff responds without thoroughly reading the case question or doesn't ask questions to clarify before responding with an answer that does not correspond with the inquiry
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple inquiries or help - many times I have them follow me when I am adding a tax assist, loc updates, etcs just to have a separate set of eyes as I do not want to misstep the procedure. If you look at my history - it is because, I made a mistake in the test environment several years ago when I was very tired and it have a negative impact

I have used Vertex university and love the content and user friendliness

Flexibility, highly customizable with excellent tax calculation results

Dates are very complex, frequent changes requiring updates and product support front line lack of knowledge

Vertex continues to include additional sales tax returns in Vertex Returns products and adding new taxability categories to Vertex O Series OD
