What do you like best about the product?
CMDB Integration capabillity with ServiceNow. CI sync . Meta data synchronization.
What do you dislike about the product?
ServiceNow Discovery and service mapping is much better than Qualys as its internal to the platform .

What do you like best about the product?
Qualys is a powerful tool to keep track of all types of web systems, carrying out a constant monitoring of the applications that are used daily to avoid any inconvenience, with malware or computer viruses, the protection of this application is easy to execute in any environment, protecting networks and all kinds of virtual connections, the installation and configuration of Qualys, is quite simple, being a system that runs on the web, or in the cloud, everything is previously activated, from the first use, only you must modify with a couple of clicks, the IP addresses, that you want to monitor, the networks, the equipment, the applications, or whatever you want, since everything is preconfigured, avoids unnecessary work hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performing a complete scan of the whole area that is being monitored with Qualys, may take a long time, and that is something that may be poorly developed, since the application programming, the code should be improved, so that it can better use the server resource where is located, so you can perform faster analysis, sometimes you can not lose so much time, waiting for an analysis is completed, and you know, you can not stop it, because you can damage something, so I hope this improves and soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can count on a complete security in all our areas of work, especially, we know that with Qualys, we have a total protection in the cloud, and in front of any type of access to our servers, and especially a high protection in all our networks of Internet access.

Good tool for viewing the vulnerabilites

What do you like best about the product?
It is very good tool to catch all the vulnerabilities of all the servers in a single shot and the GUI is most powerful as far as I know.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now are going through the documentation work and not sure what will be the exact thing to dislike the Application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve the vulnerability issues.

I will definitely recommend to others regarding the product since the product is cheap and reliable

What do you like best about the product?
Comprehensive and detail oriented reports. Provides complete picture on the vulnerability management. Their PCI Compliance platform is best in class.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX for their dashboards needs improvement but overall it is also very usable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to complete the vulnerability management controls for our PCI compliance.

Best Vulnerability Scanner

What do you like best about the product?
They provide free trial for their world-class vulnerability scanning engine. Other players in the market provide fewer features as compared to Qualys. Their support is also very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
They need to add more scanning tools in the free trial version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing all round security assessment to all our virtual machines to prevent attackers to exploit their vulnerabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best in the class security assessment tool. Must integrate with the workflow of your security scannings.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the on-demand scanning feature. I like the fact that I can use the same product to scan my workloads on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the fact that I can't scan at the process level for my containers. If this feature is available, it is not very evident in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this product mainly for vulnerability scanning in order to find out the weaknesses of the infrastructure and the software products supporting the Infrastructure-as-a-Service

What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a wide range tools to assess and identify your perimeter security
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Qualys, the only item I would add is often times configuring the scan can take some thought process on doing so. Seems like I have to do it in steps and often times find myself cancelling a set-up in order to go into another tab to set-up a needed previous step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security at the perimeter and internally, with vulnerability scanning and policy compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for internal and perimeter security!
