What do you like best about the product?
Not one can give your IT needs but my experience with Qualys is satisfying. Highly rated commercial vulnerability scanners, cloud-based vulnerability scanners with continuous and on-demand monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it satisfies our IT needs thou there is always improvement great to start on the area of automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT security protection and Compliances requirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can avail the trial version. It has unlimited scope and gives FULL access to Qualys offering on their platform. Also if you are Administrator or Security Admin please maximize by enrolling on their Qualys training and certification it can help you a lot on the day to day activities and manage the tool itself. One good thing is the training is FREE.

Qualys works OK but there is better

What do you like best about the product?
I like having easy access to the details of the findings. All the information needed is usually presented.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used another vulnerability scanner for at least 15 years. In that time, I never had a false positive. I have used Qualys for not even a year yet I have 10 false positive or insufficient information tickets.

I am also not happy that Qualys has no "scan now, on demand" feature for Qualys agents installed on servers. This makes it hard to get quick feedback on remediation efforts. My other vulnerability scanner had this feature for their agent on any OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PCI-DSS requires network vulnerability scanning. Qualys hits the checkbox sufficiently but my other vulnerability scanner did it better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qualys does a solid job of detecting network vulnerabilities, and reporting on them. The reporting is clear and informative.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to deploy and troubleshoot . Fast results. Clear direction and details about the findings
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it shows unreachable servers while it should say need to security user to be prepared in advance. It is not bad but just to be careful to add cronesec users and make sure serves are reachable

Security vulnerabilities and scan and mitigation to entire servers build and application installed before moving to production

Sure especially enterprise organization where vulnerabilities dangers the business and need to build secure and stable business

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the user interface. The interface is super friendly and self explanatory.
What do you dislike about the product?
This module does come with a programing issue that ends up in false positive vulnerability reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Business problems that I am currently solving is that this software module allows us to stay ahead of the shady characters and get advanced notification of critical vulnerabilities. The benefits of this software allows us to path and protect our systems a head of schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
It is so simple and straight forward to use. They design the web app very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface looks like it was developed back in the 90's. Just looks dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with threat response team, we are able to correlate presence of vulnerabilities to attack seen on certain end points.

Implement it! Very easy to learn how to use it.

What do you like best about the product?
Qualys is used to monitored the SSL certificates on publices sites. Their test gives a visually nice and comprehensive overview of the status of our certificates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is possible the scan doesn't have any results (nothing found), while this may be a false negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scanning of multiple certificates for cloud applications.

Qualys provides a lot of information on vulnerabilities and offers great directions to clean them up.
What do you dislike about the product?
ease of use isn't the best. Need for help to get everything setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spot and cleanup network vulnerabilities in real time and asset management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
scan results are great and clean to read. Setup is a little difficult.
