What do you like best about the product?
The documentation and features. I was able to find what I needed, either through searching on google, or by figuring it out in the user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great if there was first-class puppet support.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to correlate searches across different log types as well as filtering down to the information I need is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not too much to dislike to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem is the correlation mainly. Sumo gives that ability in aces.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DIve in with both feet. You won't regret it.

Extremely Powerful Log Aggregation and querying

What do you like best about the product?
I've recently discovered scheduled views and subqueries, and these really took investigative work to the next level. I can query my logs without writing custom scripts and cross reference information to predict errors and associate entirely disparate log sources to alert on a problem before it gets bad.
What do you dislike about the product?
While log querying is still powerful, it can be painfully slow past 7 days in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying problematic builds in lower envs before they reach production, investigating difficult problems through client telemetry, and alerting on real time problems indicated through logging.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickly finding the content looking for and ability to save and share the search.
Ability to create the dashboard and monitoring on the dashboard.

search with long date range is slow and takes lot of time.
time range bases index should be supported.

Incredible product - reliable, powerful, and great UX

What do you like best about the product?
Sumo is incredibly dependable. As someone who has helped maintain our own ES cluster in the past and use kibana in place of sumo logic, it was always a pain trying to keep things up and running, and ensuring no one was going to run queries that would bring the ES cluster to its knees at times. Sumo is incredibly dependable and reliable, even with very large sets of data and very expensive and large queries. The different visualizations it gives out of the box give us the insight we need for so many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing queries and learning the query syntax can be a bit of a learning curve. I wish sharing were a better UX, although once you figure out how to do it it works fine. The query syntax for any service like sumo (ES, etc.) has always been difficult so I don't think it's any worse than others, just challenging at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We pipe all log data from all of our different services into sumo to allow us to get insight into how our system is running, troubleshoot issues, and even run customer research to understand how users are interacting with our application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having a managed service for this allows you to focus on your business and its problems.

What do you like best about the product?
I adore that I can scan for complex mixes of strings to limit the log explanations that I need to deal with by hand. In a high volume condition, this is completely key to effectively finding precisely what you're searching for.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the event that I needed to whine about something it would be the postponement in time between when a log message is produced on my application and it touches base in Sumo. Sumo logic is a best troubleshooting tool i have found ever. we can customised our query to fetch logs in each and every aspect.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing i found to dislike till now.
