What do you like best about the product?
It offers a lot for notebook users.Users are easily able to write spark jobs.

For now we don’t think of anything else.

Learning curve is a bit high. A bit pricey too.

It’s flexible and easy to implement using their cloud services

It’s difficult to forecast DBU costs. Would be very helpful to have better modeling tools.

I have recently started using databricks and love how the databricks autoloader and workflows works

I think sometimes managing the infrastructure can be complicated

Our team extensively uses databricks and use the data lake storage and ETL techniques on a regular basis
Very easy platform to use with an efficient workflow orchestration

I like the fact that we can easily onboard workflows on the platform and perform heavy workloads with ease

It's a bit tricky to setup and also requires some knowledge on cluster configuration

We are siloed in many different areas of the company. Unity catalog enables efficient collaborations across teams

The lack of cost monitoring support with gotchas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance tuning in many ETLs without constant monitoring. We looooove not having to directly tune in every ETL with databricks.
