Simplifies Image Sharing Across Devices Perfectly

  • November 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for four to five years, primarily to share images across my devices and with my friends. I love the easy accessibility it provides, which sets it apart from other vendors. I also appreciate the 2 TB plan, which suits my needs perfectly. Dropbox helps me avoid complications with other apps, providing a straightforward solution for sharing images and documents. The ability to create and share individual folders with specific people is a feature I rely on heavily. Being able to open files on my computer as if they were any other document is an added convenience. Additionally, Dropbox works perfectly for my purposes, and the features align well with my requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating when Dropbox asks someone to sign in to download files, as it can be difficult for people without a Dropbox account. Additionally, the setup process initially confused me because the best option offered was the 3 TB plan, which was a better deal but too expensive for someone just starting out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to easily share images and documents across devices, avoiding complications with other apps. Its folder-sharing feature is particularly beneficial for managing access to specific people.

Cross-Platform Access and Easy Sharing, with a Small Learning Curve

  • November 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to access my critical files on multiple machines and multiple platforms/operating systems is a massive win as far as I am concerned; sharing folders is also pretty although there is a bit of a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for MacOS 10.13 and below has been dropped. It is also advisable to put your files in user-defined folders to find your info. The DropBox site itself is also a bit unfriendly to compared to using the Dropbox folder itself on your Mac
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing the same info using multiple devices (iMac, MacBook, iPhone and company issued Dell)

Managing Partner

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is widely recognized and used by many groups. When you mention Dropbox, almost everyone knows what you mean. The free trial available when you first start using it is helpful, as it allows you to determine if it is the right tool for your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find most frustrating is the limitations placed on the free trial. It would be useful if you could set restrictions on a file, as that feature would really help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing large files via email can be difficult, and it is often challenging to ensure that everyone is working with the most up-to-date version of a document. When using Dropbox to share files, this issue is greatly reduced since the file is stored in a single location. Additionally, because you can share with multiple people at once, it becomes much easier to keep everyone updated without having to email updates to each person.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been such a blessing in my work. I use it to share my healing journals and guides with people who are going through their own healing journey. It makes it so easy to organize, upload, and share everything safely in one place. I’m really grateful for how simple it’s made it to reach and help others who need guidance
What do you dislike about the product?
As a start-up It's the fee to upgrade but will definitely upgrade hopefully soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy sharing of the files that I know it will make a big impact on their lives, I use QRcode for the Dropbox link easier for my followers to download the journals.
